A commission I got from  VeryBatty depicting my merboy Wairere devouring their dorky catgirl, Penny. I'm always a sucker for good male preds, and I was starting to get an itch to write one myself. Dug into some mythology and eventually decided to make Wairere, who's a Taniwha from Māori folklore. In short, he's pretty much a mythological sea monster, who likes protecting nature and occasionally terrorising various cute boys or girls. Looks like Penny made the mistake of fishing in one of his lakes~
