Another, more serious risk: The prey's conscience may awaken fully and decide to revolt.
If the monster doesn't fully subdue the prey's consciousness, it will keep regaining awareness and eventually, it can try to revolt against her. They share a body now, but the strongest mind is the one who gets to control it. So, the prey could take over, if the monster isn't careful.

I think you're mistaking "convenience" with consciousness. Conscience is your sense of right and wrong. Consciousness is your sense of self.

Hm, you may e right. In spanish, the word 'conciencia' is used to mean both of those meanings. I suppose I translated that literally.
Thanks for your help!

Monstergirls are very careful picking their prey because they don't want this to happen to them. The thought does keep some predatory monstergirls up at night.

Do you think it would be possible for them to coexist or is ine going to hold a mad grudge anginst its pred?

It depends. Normally, the one caught inside is subdued and kept prisoner until the assimilation is complete.
From time to time, they can come t oan understanding, but it is rare.

Ok then next question
When they other one comes up after being awoken so the keep whatever was left of there old form on said tail like for example if this snake absorbed a centaur? Or a mermaid or another snake would they retain the top half of what was there old bodies or is it just voices in the predators head?
And how many monsters could one absorb? and if possible would they all fight for one body? But then what would happen to the predators body if one were to absorb multible preys?

Normally, prey that has spent long enough being part of someone becomes assimilated more thoroughly, until barely anything remains. But that process can take from days to years.
Several dormant consciousnesses of prey can remain half-awake within the monstergirl that ate them, and depending on their success at wrestling control back, they could recover control from some parts of the body, be limited to just being annoying voices in her mind, or be completely unable to have any sort of influence.
Trying to absorb too many at once, in a quick succcession might cause the monstergirl to reach her limit, in which case, she loses control of her body and goes berserk, until she recovers control, or one of the prey she ate can do so.

Shit dawg sounds like that would suck having a head full of voices would problaly make anyone go insane but having so many tring to over take the predators body must hurtlike hell.
I can see that being a scary thing it'd be almost like a hivemind but everyone just hate eachother and or just confused

Which is why the pred has to supress them so that they stay asleep once inside. Normally they only awaken if the monster that ate them is not strong enough to keep them asleep and absorb them entirely.
