This is one of the most lovely absorption sequences I've ever seen! Even if it was unwilling it just seemed so delightfully intimate that I have to wonder if a small part of the Neko actually enjoyed it. Your artwork is wonderful and I hope you continue to make stuff like this in the future.
Most of the monstergirls in my setting have learned and adapted to make the process pleasurable for the prey, and also for themselves.
Since their senses are gradually connected with the prey's senses, pleasure and fuzzy feelings are a good way to calm down the prey and make them accept the process without raising much of a fuzz.
In the same way, inflicting pain on the prey could cause them to feel that pain themselves, so they avoid it when they can.
Oh that makes a lot of sense! Pleasurable and practical, I love it.
Is there a way for the pred to willingly release their prey? In the event that they get tired of having to surpress them all the time or for some other reason? I remember you saying that there body the way they knew it was gone for good but is there a way around that?
Releasing prey that has already ben absorbed? In general that cannot happen.
A couple of monsters over the years have figured a couple of ways to accomplish something like that, though, but these methods are not known by a majority of monsters.
For the majority of monsters, what comes inside, doesn't get out. The best way of escaping from a predator's body is doing so before the absorption starts, or at least, before it is complete.
I've typically written my absorption scenes as being reversible in some way or another, but the idea of permanent absorption does intrigue me. Doubly so if the prey is willing (like in your newest sequence, which is wonderful by the way). I love the idea of someone sacrificing themselves to a pred for some reason. Like to make the pred stronger or because it's the only way for the prey to survive something that has or will happen.
It's usually a forceful thing, but someone dear willingly becoming part of a monster in order to help her out or to stay together with her, is the kind of thing that is known to happen every now and then.

What a nice lamia, giving the kitty a lovely place to sleep whenever she wants!

Right? She's tucking her into bed, where she can sleep peacefully, comfily.
Being part of a snek's tail is the best resting experience. ;3

The neko most certainly enjoyed part of it~

Right, it is a romantic theme.
It's usually a forceful thing, but someone dear willingly becoming part of a monster in order to help her out or to stay together with her, is the kind of thing that is known to happen every now and then.
