You pull your trusty shields, Snag and Snatch, out of space storage. You are already in mid-stride, your fists ready to grip your weapons, hurling forward in a soon-to-be-armored punch. You’re highly trained--what Royal Knight wouldn’t be?--and this method of quick-draw combat is as easy for you as breathing. You make sure to angle your hit just-so, to keep the prong tips from embedding in the spongy fungal flesh.

The blow, predictably, connects. Hard. You think you might have knocked its teeth in. The shrumbloid staggers back, this sudden aggression taking it by surprise; usually prey is more... hapless. They try to run. They get hunted down. You, however, a knight of the proud elfin kingdom of Parthatra? Far from hapless.

That ravenous mushroom is gonna regain its footing real quick, and you know a counterattack is coming. Fast. No time to block it! Gonna have to plan your next move quick!
