The vast, unbroken skies of the countryside at night are a wonderful sight. Nobody was out to see them though, which may have been for the better or worse. One of the thousands of glittering gems above slowly grew larger. Before long, it was as bright as the moon but only a quarter as large. A grand cacophony of fire and noise rattled the countryside as this celestial body struck ground, digging a mile-long trench through the mountainside grassland.
