You’re going for it--you don’t know when your next meal will be, after all, and it’d be a shame to let a mushroom this big go to waste! While the shrumbloid is dazed from your second attack, you catch its arms in your shield gaps, lifting it off the ground with a strength that, frankly, is in-elfin. You stuff its entire cap into your maw at once, swallowing right away. Much like your physical might, your ingestive abilities aren’t exactly common for your race. Or for most other races. But you’re special; special enough that the entire shrumbloid is packed away neatly in your stomach in only two powerful gulps.

Still... you feel like you’re forgetting something important about shrumbloids. You’re not sure what, but it’s tickling at the edges of your mind. Hm. Well, it’ll probably come to you when it’s relevant.

The evening mist is settling in the spore-choked Tombwood. The sun will be setting soon. It’s still a bit of a hike to the heart of the forest, and you’re a bit overladen at the moment. Urp. But you have to keep moving if you wanna avoid any needless encounters with more of these feisty fungi. So that’s exactly what you do, heavy belly already setting to work at gurgling its prey into slush.
