Much like the story goes in the mythos, Ygonicha is in this case a spawn of Ygy. As a Great Old One, Ygonicha had been locked away in some unknown place behind a brick wall. Longing to escape her imprisonment, Ygonicha, much like her father, has knowledge of every sort of perversion and depravity that any sapient being can think of (oftentimes, she would "help" them to discover new perversions for the lulz).

Her name is written in a book upon which when read aloud, she is summoned into the human world. Upon arrival, she would ask her summoner to be her next priest, or food. Sometimes they choose the latter.
