So it seems like any form of plot to set things up for later is apparently either uninteresting or outright confusing, based on how things are going with this character. Thus, I've decided to try and end this section as I personally don't feel like I should be writing it anymore due to my own observations and issues I am having making and introducing interesting characters.

So now I feel as though I have to explain anything that may be confusing going on during this page.

Firstly, the effects of being hollowed out are actually.. REALLY bad. The reason why an icon of death was used to represent the entity who caused it is because it is absolutely justified to do so, especially seeing as Lyra who actually recovered from it is still suffering from the effects.. seeing as she doesn't retain any of her past memories or abilities, and just trying to tap into them through say.. "Muscle memory", puts her at risk of being hollowed out again. (The exact details of the status won't be explained until another plot point.)

Secondly, this character introduced is presumably able to freely enter special spaces such as the Void inside Lyra as long as there is someone in there. However at the moment, she solely sees Lyra as a form of entertainment and won't offer her assistance. This whole bit of plot was solely meant to be one of the two, very early means that she would introduce herself.. otherwise she likely wouldn't have made an appearance until the very last moment where it was absolutely necessary for her to introduce herself and in a very different manner to how she did during this event. To people who really aren't interested in her due to her introduction, just.. nngh.. just be patient, I'm terrible at writing so it's really going to take awhile for me to get her into a more enjoyable state.

Thirdly, the thing with the "Nightfairy" was purposefully not shown or even looked at by Lyra as I really don't want to give people a reason to fear her further. This was an extremely rare case and she will likely never get such a boost at night ever again and simply was used to further explain the species' relation to the moon. It's sort of a spoiler of sorts, but I actually ended up Commissioning  Rayen to draw her and she is super adorable and fluffy. Do not fear da moff, Embrace her..

Ahem, and finally the bit about the Moon bunnies is sort of like something that'll only every really become relevant if people actively pursue the matter or randomly find enough clues that I'm honestly not going to actively leave around much. The only warning that I'll give is that the related events can be incredibly dangerous, regardless of how innocent the content seems.

In terms of comments for this page, decide on what you want to do to end the night (if you want to end it.) And then Decide on where to go/what to do in the morning. If there's a particular location in the comment that Lyra can go to that isn't inside the INN, she will leave the building with brief, if any interactions with the staff and arrive at the destination soon after. (Of course rolling if she'll run into the night fairy at random in between destinations. As a hint, I'll only forcefully start that event if I roll really low.)

"A simple courier run"

A group of researchers have set themselves up in some ruins of which the full trip there and back would take nearly two days from the town you are in on foot. They seem to be in constant need for supplies, but it seems like none of the locals are too excited to take up this mantle. However, apparently they have something to do with the earring you found clipped to that Ravenous wolf's ear, so it might be worth checking it out. You should meet up with the mechanic who lives in the town to see what this is about.

"The sword's Trial I"

There's a nearby ruin called a dungeon where you can undertake something called a Trial in order to upgrade the Old One's sword in a meaningful way, it's likely to be fairly difficult and seeing as you have no idea what will happen, it is also going to be fairly hard to prepare for this as well. Strangely, you feel as though you won't be able to bring anyone along for this one.

"Thy dear Lunatics"

It seems as though there is a problem with the nearby Fairy village that is bad enough to send a small group to look for help. The problem is getting there seeing as the forest is enchanted to purposefully get people lost through illusions and trickery and is filled with dangers such as feral fairies. Perhaps if I walk around town enough, I'll bump into the member of the group looking for a particular person to help out. You feel as though you don't want to run into them at night, however.

"Bandit curiosity"

About a month ago, some bandits appeared in the local area and have been kidnapping anyone that hasn't drawn blood from one of their group. But for some reason they haven't killed, tarnished or sold off as merchandise but instead have simply been holding them hostage in order to trade with the town. It's doubtful that the town would stop negotiations, so there isn't really a time limit. You feel as though killing any bandits, or carrying around a "Hunt x amount of Bandits" bounty from the local Adventurer guild would be a terrible idea.

We really should start keeping a journal and writing down the events that have happened. Just in case something bad happens. It's pedantic but it might help.

Asking for advice might be a good idea after that it's time to sleep.

Thank her for the explanation and for not destroying us. Hit the hay then go do some questing. I believe we have a date with a mechanic.

If we do start a conversation we should ask if anything happened over the night. (don't underestimate our ability to ignore potential death situations in favor of cute~)

Let her go. Once she is gone get up and see if we can sleep in one of the kobolds beds with them to not be alone if not tiredly sleep in our own bed.
Now while we could ask her to stay to not be alone for the night that kind of defeats the purpose of trying to avoid the powerful scary zombie.

In the morning get breakfast from the kobolds, they provide that if I'm remembering correctly.

Let the mystery person leave, practice sleeping with 1 eye open, see if the kobolds have finished cleaning their mess if not help them.

Willpower 0.1/100 so... yeah.... We need to just, watch the strange girl go and sleep. also, we need to figure out how to recover willpower. Energy is pretty straightforward, but willpower?

Go ahead and sleep with the arm still tied up. its a bother to undo at this point.

In the morning, see how we're feeling with willpower, and ask around town, probably with the tavern, on how adventurers recover from fights. Should come across as a newb question, and not raise too many flags.

If we're feeling healthy enough, check out the training grounds, and try to test out our new gear.

Willpower recovers the fastest naturally as it's kind of just.. "Mental strength" or "Fighting spirit". Once Lyra calms down and clears her mind, probably by going to sleep, it'll go back to normal fairly quickly. The downside is that it'll never recover if she doesn't regain her.. Posture? you get the idea, she needs to be calm.

Also, I totally forgot her arm was still tied up. :v

Before she leaves, ask her what we should call her, thank her for her help with an awkward one-armed hug, then go to sleep. Stay true, and do not tell anyone about the necromancer lady.

What an interesting and slightly terrifying turn of events! I'm not sure i want to find out what hallowing really is, and what it would do someone after this. I also wonder what the implications of Lyra's new body buddy will be, and how... active the darkness elemental will be. And while she's still menacing, i think our new, creepy friend here has earned some trust. She coudlve let Lyra hallow herself, and there wasn't much incentive for her to step in and help.

Pretty late getting into this, so I'm not sure if I should bother voting, but heck with it. Get a proper night's rest for the first time in our all too short memory, get some breakfast in the morning, and go meet the mechanic to see about doing "A simple courier run" after that.

Honestly, at some point I might have to ask for small amounts of money.. but the whole idea is very stressful and I personally loathe anything that involves finances.

Cash is something that hits you like a truck, that flings you into a pool of sharks. I'm not comfortable taking that first step in front of that truck while it's in motion.
