guilds, and houses may be raided by rival guilds and bandits. this group of bandits fell prey to one of the many defensive traps that this guild hall placed down (with a viewing glass panel installed so members can watch trespassers dissolve).

the way this trap works is that tendrils creep from the maw of what looks like a watermelon, the tendrils wrap around the legs of the unsuspecting prey it then drags its meal one morsel at a time leaving a gap between gulps so they don't crush eachother on the way down.

the prey slowly circles around underground in the plant with their clothes slowly dissolving off they are thrown into the viewing chamber completely nude so the viewers can watch and enjoy the dissolving prey
