This was mostly an experiment in seeing if I could describe something developing sapience and self-awareness, with a side of me hearing the phrase "Kirby basically vores his enemies" and going Too Far with it.

Worth noting is that at the time I wrote this I said, quote, "I'm not super into this." But now look at the site I'm posting it on. Joke's on me, eh?
