Surprise everyone!

First off, I apologize for going so long without uploading anything. Since finishing my Michaela stories, I've struggled with writing and always run into a creative wall in the middle of a new story, and I end up putting it on hold (or scrapping it) every time because of it.

Because of these writing difficulties, I decided I wanted to try my hand at art so I could still be contributing to the community in some way. I've seen a lot of people on here with original characters and mascots for themselves, so I decided that making my own would be the best way to start.

After setting my mind to this goal and dedicating many hours to it, I happily present to you all my first character and mascot: Autumn!

Since I'm very new to drawing and illustration, I just focused on her face for this one so I could start small and get a solid idea of her appearance without overwhelming myself; I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I'm very OCD-ish, so I think that starting with a full body and face drawing right away would have seriously overwhelmed me and stressed me out, causing me to quit altogether. Plus I wanted a new avatar, and she looks 100 times better than that dull and generic thing I threw together in 20 minutes years ago.

Regardless, I'm really happy with how it turned out! Since this was my first drawing, any feedback is appreciated so I can improve my ability for future projects!
