"Merre hates water. Merre can swim, but it difficult, and much like snakey ladies, fishy ladies were mean. Merre only wanted tasty water creatures to eat! Now though, unless they have big mermaid in this lake, meremaid is Merre-snack."

Revisiting multiple places she used to attempt to hunt, Merre found herself at sizeable lake. When she used to come here in the summer, she would find the inhabitants of the lake would threaten her the moment she dipped so much as a toe in the water. Trying to get in to find fish, they would charge at her and slap her with their tails.

This time, when her toe touched the water, a few of them submerged closeby. Merre was ready however, and grabbed them both at the same time before they could react. While squeezing the struggling mermaids tightly, she sat herself down on the grass verge with her catch. They were slippery and far stronger than they appeared. But dried quick enough above the surface, making them much easier to hold.

Bringing one up to her mouth, she promply swang her around by her tail and dropped her into her mouth. She tasted as Merre expected, much like fish, but better! As the mermaid flipped her tail, trying to free herself from the feline maw, Merre took the oppertunity to watch the lake for a little while, enjoying the taste. Her ears heard the hooves of what she assumed was a animal, but then the gasp of a woman. She didn't bother turning, it was most likely a centaur... The last one she tried to eat was too much trouble and barely fit in her mouth.


The second mermaid shouted to the centaur for help, but the equine woman decided it best to run away, leaving the hungry feline to her catch.
