Honestly I genuinely didn't notice, just sort of said tangerine without thinking about it, aha. It's true, although if you ask Nami a certain somebody might like them a bit too much...

yea, i think because oranges are more popular in the US that they changed it, since the tangerine they use does look a lot like an orange and oranges are often associated with pirates.
