Okay, back after a long hiatus! And we are back with character updates. Eiris' new design has paler skin and pitch black eyes.

She enters the next stage of Malaea's digestive tract. I must say I've been really looking forward to this ever since I saw that wide shot of Eiris inside Malaea's digestive tract on page 8, months ago, and thinking those are some of the best looking intestines I've seen, it would be a shame if she and the viewer didn't go through them. They are so well textured, detailed, and glisten, you feel like you could reach out and touch them.
There's much said about the things Eiris and Orelia are doing for a friend, but Malaea must have sacrificed a bit for her friends too. Her digestive tract is mostly empty, meaning she must have really fasted before hand, so that her friends didn't get too messy with digesting food and waste. Gas pockets could be expected though. Poor Malaea must be starving, but she knows she must continue fasting for the sake of her friend.
Orelia is kind of lucky Myrrha didn't swallow her, a trip through her would be quite messy, since she looks like the tomboyish type to eat and drink heartily. Nice touch that her insides on page 13 are reddish pink while the dark Malaea's insides are purplish by comparision.
I don't like the very dark eyes, it somewhat dehumanises her. Is it something her body begins to do after a while in a very dark environment?

The dark eyes are a recent design change. It's more accurate to Zizo's imagination of her and her race.
And yes yes! Malaea was fasting before, altho not mentioned, but this time it's a believable choice that she made. After all this was planned.
Ohh Myrrha probably just recently finished a large steak with potatoes. I wouldn't be surprised if her belly also had a pint or two of ale as well. Orelia dodged a messy ride haha.

Love the fact that she was fssting , surprised her stomach aint growling up a storm
But i think it be hkt if there was a comic where she came into contact witg the dugested food and was in fkr a messy disposal

These pictures that show the digestion system anatomy are always my favorites! ^_^ Hopefully, she doesn't come in contact with any food blocking her way. xD

Now she just needs to crawl through 20 feet of velvety tubing, villi brushing against her skin and trying to absorb her the entire way.
Here's hoping she doesn't take a wrong turn and end up trapped in the appendix!
