Waning Crescent had expressed a recent lack of energy and stomach aches, and thus Gyro offered to help her with an old family remedy. despite her declining, it seems he wouldn't take no for an answer.

The lack of an ability to regurgitate, which was common to all equines, ensured Waning could do nothing but swallow each stone that passed into her throat, feeling them tumble into her stomach and press heavily into the bottom of her gut.
