On breaking Sci-twi’s magic draining compact, Sunset absorbed all the wild stray magic it contained.

Unfortunately, at the time I it was attempting to drain magic from an active portal to Equestrian.

Sunset therefore not only absorbed the traces of magic of her friends and the wild magic, but the entirety of Equestrian.

Now, a new sun rises over the Earth in the form a sister world. It’s name is Sunset Shimmer and she is The magical world of Equestrian.
