Whilst fighting the golden pair, Akane got separated from her partner Ranma.

In one universe, Ranma (whilst female) would join forces with Ryoga to defeat the figure skating pair.

In this universe, a misstep by the golden pair allows Akane to use the ultimate technique of the Tendo school to trap her opponents and proceed to drain them of their fighting spirit (a technique based on the powers of Happosai).

Unfortunately, Akane never learned the full technique and wasn't able to release once drained.

Therefore, she was most annoyed later with the amount of work in her future to work them off.
