An old favorite among my friends, spin the bottle, makes a grand resurgence with the pausing of reformation for the year due to university funding issues. Over the course of this last semester, my friend group has shrunk dramatically, though we've all been assured they'll be back in time for orientation next year.

It's been a long time coming, but my best friends, Kerry and Jess, have finally joined me for a game. So, here I am, in my dorm room, discarded bottles from earlier tonight piled next to the door, one in the middle of the three of us. The tension ratchets up as stomachs rumble and mouths salivate.

Now, will my summer break be spent with new curves, or as new curves?
