This is an old character I made when I was first starting out in highschool. As you can see I've diverged ALOT as an artist since then. It was supposed to be a pun on the mythical creatures Naga and Alraune (which is also the German word for mandrake), which I put my own spin on. She and many others like her were supposed to be shapeshifters under the power of a goddess of insects (or atleast that's all I can remember from the lore I made back then for a fantasy idea that's been scrapped and reworked repeatedly).
Now why did I post this ANCIENT work? Well, it's because I'm doing a little revamp of her that I'll post in a few days. Hope you guys like it when it comes out.
Also:
Do you guys wanna see some other old stuff I did back in the day? I got a couple of sketchbooks filled with this crap that I could probably salvage and rework.

It's definitely not the prettiest piece you've posted, but it is pretty interesting. I'd be happy to see what else you have.

This looks fine but I can see how your drawing changed over time.
Also have fun doing the redrawing her cuz it's going to be great to see.
