Looks like these two Gorilla gifter gals are celebrating their most recent meal with what else, BOOZE!
Next piece in my Gifter series, this time of two girls with similar abilities, but quite clearly different appearances. Either way, it was quite fun to draw the gorilla, feel like it helped me a lot in understanding how to draw from a reference when I'm not drawing a person. Also since we don't see the legs of these two, thought it'd be fun to give them some unsuspected legs as it would certainly fit the themes the gifters have of just being out there and weird. I'm especially fond of the leg warmer ape feet.

I've never watched One Piece before, but it seems like it's one of those shows where every character, even extras, have completely unique designs. Is that right? Because I might have to check it out if so. I LOVE shows that do stuff like that!

Yeah, oda can have some really good character design. Personally, I feel One piece is absolutely best when it comes to it's world building and character work, but I highly recommend it to anyone who is up to the task of reading almost 1000 chapters of manga/or 900+ episodes of anime.
But yeah, these characters are background designs, a lot of characters in this most recent arc have some really great designs and merely hang out in the background. That's part of why I'm doing this series since they aren't likely to get much more attention.
