That Big Fish from those Video Games

If you've ever played Super Mario 64, you may remember a certain level where there's a body of water with a big fish that tries to eat Mario when you swim near it. In the Jak and Daxter Series and the Ratchet and Clank series, there sometimes is a giant fish (a lurker shark, in the case of the Jak series) used as a level boundary mechanic to prevent the player from staying in the water for too long. I also remember a more obscure game, Starshot, where there's a level on a beach and in the water there's an alien fish that tries to eat your character when you get too close. I've always been the type to let my player character get eaten a ton of times in these games. However, I've always also been bugged by the fact that there's usually no female player character in situations like these. So, I decided to make a series that sort of depicts my favorite character, Emily, being in one of these video game environments where there is a giant fish swimming about that is intended to be invincible. And every time she enters the water, it makes a beeline straight for her. And if she allows it to get too close, it's game over.
