D.VA had invited May to one of her photoshoots for a promotional campaign for a new flavor of chips that gave you that feeling of a old-fashioned diner, from the '50s. When she was running late for the shoot they basically Asked Mei to do the shoot instead and they just needed to make a few tweaks to the outfit turns out it fit her pretty well.
