Fanart/tribute entry to  Aesir 's Drawlloween contest this year.

It's a bit cheap that I have to 'translate' this one but I don't think anyone is going to understand ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs meant to 'label' what's going on here. ;)

You can look at this scene's theme in two ways:

Either a simple spin on how 'Trick or Treating' is set up in Egypt for a sexy voracious mummy. Instead of going house-to-house, she goes tomb-to-tomb pulling 'sweets' out of the various sarcophagi that have been clearly set up for her to...uh...browse.

Or, you can look at it the intended way. ;) You know those boxes of assorted candies you find every now and then? Flip them over usually and you have a diagram of what delights are to partake in each little cavity, right?

Apparently, the (ancient?) Egyptian equivalent of such a box is a whole tomb set up with numerous varieties of 'sarcophagus sweets' just waiting to be opened and tasted. There's even a guide etched into the tomb's wall with a map for all the flavors one can sample per each sarcophagus. And there's even an excited enchanted/necromantic temptress woman just waiting to help out (a cameo by one of my own OCs named Necra Ruia). She seems pretty happy to point out faves, translate/inform the glowing runes, open up lids and then CROSS OUT the already emptied 'candies'. :)

And what variety there is a for a hungry mummy! Such luscious delicacies like...lemme translate... "Worshipper of Anubis", "Foreign Explorer", "Water Maiden of Isis", "Lesser Mummy", "Crunchy Frog Girl" (just kidding ;) ), "Enemy Warrioress", "Deposed Queen" to name a few. Necra there just crossed out the current item that the Mummy Queen there is suckling on: a delicious "Exotic Concubine". And now her staff is pointing out the next tail-lifted candy: a rare "Dancer of Bastet". Ooh, I think she'll enjoy that one...if she can yank her off the edge of the coffin.

Necra squeals with delight with each pick. Whether or not "Helpful Temptress" is listed on the wall guide is up to your imagination. ;)

I think the recipient of this set of sweets is enjoying herself...probably has two or three delights down in her belly already...she's just started after all...

...and that 'exotic concubine' treat also seems to be at least slightly 'enjoying' things too, based on those clenching toes...those pokes from the Mummy seem to be rubbing around the right spot...

I tend to write too much in descriptions, but, eh, I think I needed to 'translate' the scene. ^^

Btw, I can scale down the artworks if you think they're a bit too big (a general question there).

Always ADORED (ancient) Egyptian themes and scenes, so going for the delightful Mummy (Queen?) for this contest entry was almost a given. I MAY have scaled her up a bit too big (compared to a normal human) but I'm not sure. Just love her design though. :)

Heh, which 'candies' would YOU taste first for Halloween from this 'box'? ;)
