A concept I came up with awhile back that I've finally been able to have done. This time once again by the lovely Freimgul.

Kazalan was once a strict Imperialistic nation. However, when it's old ruler fell ill and left his empire without an heir, a new order arose upon the land. These new leaders sought to bring balance to a world where tinies were treated like cattle. Of many changes that would come about, the most controversial was the new government's decision to provide these smaller denizens their own sanctum and rights. Many refused to give up their old habits and would rebel against their leaders, sending the nation into civil war.

Oritheia was once a captain for the old Empire, and as a nationalist, always considered it her duty to uphold the law of her people. Today she sides against these rebels and would gladly risk her own life to defend those who cannot defend themselves, large or small.

Although she understands the value of ballistic weapons and vehicles, Ori has always preferred her sword and her ability to use stealth against her enemies. She also carries a small Blink Drive; a module designed by the Empire before the shift in regime had canceled the development for mass production. With it she is able to cover short distances in the blink of an eye. It's not instantaneous teleportation, but it's certainly as close as modern technology can get. Blink allows her to constantly get behind her foes and evade any form of retaliation, more than making up for her lack in ranged combat.
