Since fairies don't have any rights, nor protection laws, this makes them an easy target for everyone else. Fairies are a popular snack with younger people. They are also safe to eat raw or cooked. They are also overpopulated, so there is no risk of overhunting. Alice is one her way to Cleo's house to play video games with her. On her way she stumbles upon a hive of fairies just outside Cleo's house. As any other normal person would do, Alice just gobbles them all up. It's not until she finishes with them and her stomach swells up, she could've shared a few with Cleo. Oh well >:3
