That was great, I am curious about the revival rules, given having a clone available seemed to have let Alexandria come back.

You've got it right - having a clone of yourself at the right stage of development when you die will cause you to reincarnate in that clone. Alexandria spotted Jasmin pretending to be a normal clone and worked it out.
Awesome, sort of like an afterlife wrong warp glitch.
