After the American Revolution against Great Britain, the first American President George Washington ,the man who could turn the presidency into anything he wanted, founded a republic with democracy as its core principles... but what if he didn’t. What if instead of republic, a new monarchy was founded but with an elected parliament. This is the world Aurora is from.

Born from a lower branch of the royal lineage, Aurora was a product of detente between the empires of the Western Hemisphere, America and Brazil. Her purpose already preset in life for her as nothing more than a high standing diplomat, much of her childhood was her learning the diplomatic arts, something she wasn’t all too interested in. Worryingly to many trying to teach her, she found herself far more interested in the art of war, how battles were won, strategic formations. The exact opposite of what she was meant to be for. But nonetheless, despite her boredom of such teachings she persisted and forced herself through learning diplomats way. As she grew older in her late teens she found herself increasingly interested in a new found ability that came with age to replace the once worrying interest in war. Growing older and developing both mentally and physically awakened a hunger in her stomach that many women find in their late teens, a hunger only live squirming meat will fill; Aurora has grown to love that feeling of squirming meat. It soon became a common sight to see the young woman with a large meal hanging off her midriff on a weekly basis as they were melted down inside of her. She had always been a voracious eater her whole life, and this new found hunger greatly expanded her capabilities.

As she finally rolled into adulthood she was almost immediately sent to Brazil to maintain at least non-hostile relations. Her first two years of her five year stay were the bleakest years of her life. Sadly for her diplomatic immunity only extends so far, the most maddening culprit for her being unable to fill her stomach up with another being. Abroad it is considered an insult to eat a citizen of another country without their consent. Stressed, bored, and with no close contact with friends at home, Aurora fell into a state of depression. Her only alleviation was drowning herself in books of history and war stories, the things her childhood self loved. It was only at near the end of her second year did she learn about an abdication crisis in America. After a large scandal leading resulting in the former leader to violate constitutional protocol on numerous occasions, he abdicated the throne leaving it for his oldest daughter to take over, however with his daughter being no more than seven years old the throne was temporarily given to his brother. However before she was old enough to take the throne, she passed away from the Spanish Flu that ripped through America. Many assumed the throne would now go to the past king’s youngest daughter who was now nearly 14, however with his brother seeing the loophole that specified that only when the oldest daughter comes of age will he have to give up the throne not the youngest, he declared himself the successor indefinitely. All of this was nearly over 100 years ago, but as Aurora read through the names of the family tree, that youngest daughter was her great great grandmother.

She was robbed. The throne should have been hers, instead she has to sit at a useless diplomatic holding, denied everything back home all because of some century old treachery, she wanted it back and she had a legitimate claim... and no support or the funds to do so. She needed to claw her way to the top. And the only way to do so is to start from the very bottom. For the last 3 years of her visit Aurora became incredibly powerful in the black market. Using her diplomatic abilities to sweep little things under the rug, gangs soon began to line her pockets to keep law officials of their trails, boosting both their revenue and hers. With deep connections to gun running trade, she found herself with a hefty bonus revenue and weapons to use Incase plans in the future ever went south. These connections also allowed her to fill her stomach with the occasional being who may or may not have been willing. However at the age of 24, the final year she would be in Brazil, she found her stay violently cut short and abruptly as she was told to end her administration there immediately as a Caribbean regional conflict resulted in an excommunication between the two nations. Annoyed, to have her cash reign cut short so quickly Aurora packed up and burned all previous connections to the dark world she was connected to and went back to America, never to return to Brazil.

Upon returning home she was one again placed in a position with little to no power. All she had was a very minor voice the noble legislative branch. However her time in Brazil taught her how to be resourceful with little to no influence. While she didn’t hold a powerful position in the branch, she did hold a powerful position in the nation, but this time lined with extra cash. Once again using her position to push things underneath the table, her profits once again surged in the market. Using this profits she could “influence” others to support her ideas, the more who supported her, the more connections she got, the more connections lead to more money and the more money she had the more influence she spread, thus resulting in a self propelled cycle of accession. This however was eventually caught secret service, but by the time she was too powerful to remove. Having easily a fifth of the government in her pocket. Still no where near the amount of support she would need to cause a coup but definitely to make her position solid and secure enough to make removing her unthinkable as to not cause serious government upheaval. The most they can do is to try and counteroffer her growing influence to keep the current queen in power. Whether it’ll work out for who in the end in unknown, the conflict still goes on with the young noblewoman holding serious political sway and pressure in the government trying to undermine the current royal administration. One thing is for certain though, if Aurora does manage to take power, she will hold a serious government purge. Those close to her will find wealth and power unimaginable before, those against will find themselves a victim to Aurora’s favorite hobby now that she’s back in America resulting in a cramped, dark very wet end for them.~
