It was supposed to be easy case, she already had the vore suspect almost in hand... (or rather she was about to join other party victims in the snek belly) when suddenly Luna came to the rescue! She may have shrunk them both and then ate the snek filled with still living victims but at least she was saved! ...For a few extra seconds before joining the lamia in elf belly, that is.
