A human returned to home after a long, hard day at work. Alone, miserable, but at least he could relax right? Work was pretty much the same slog as usual, and at this point it pretty much came down to a pattern; work, go home to eat, sleep, and go back to work again. The human wished for something to finally change that pattern, maybe to get a significant other finally, or at the very least, a friend to make life worth something. After getting making a box of packaged Mac & Cheese, he'd end up feeling a strange tiredness in his eyes, one that felt oppressive... He thought to himself "This early?... Oh well, I guess I have nothing better to do anyways..." and went to bed to sleep. Something strange happened when he slept, normally he rarely ever dreamed, but this time he saw everything vividly, strangely enough, he could also remember that he fell asleep... Right now he was face to face with a huge metal gate, one that seemed to penetrate the skies, the gate had a massive "Do not enter!" sign in front of it, but activity could be heard if he listened carefully. He looked around the seemingly infinite gates, it seemed to house an amusement park, there was still ride sounds, and there was a pleasant smell coming from within, normally he'd be one to obey signs, but this was just a dream right? After dealing with the mundanity of average life so much, he deserved something fun for once! Not to mention, as he looked around, everywhere else looked creepy... Fog so thick that you can barely see in front of you, and an alien-like geometry... Best to stick to what he knows. With a deep breath, he creaks open the gate, and steps inside.
As soon as he stepped inside, he heard a loud slam, door stuck, no way back. The place was strange, it looked like a normal amusement park at a glance, but it seemed to be partially flooded, not to mention the rides seemed a bit... Well, weird. The roller-coasters had weird patterns that looked more like outlines than tracks, there was a complete lack of anyone here from the looks of it, and there was still that flooding issue... Why would an amusement park have ankle deep water in so many places? It wasn't even like the place was meant to be a water park either... The human would find himself exploring a bit, getting a bit of a spine chill as he felt like something was watching him... A glance around showed nothing, as he looked around he found several odd places. There was your usual things, like the rides and shopping area, but strangely enough, there was an entire mall, and dormitory rooms?... What sort of college person would live here? As curious as he was about those places, the dorms required money that he didn't have, and the mall was boarded up. Just then, his stomach growled... Still hungry, the food was definitely enticing right now... Amusement park food was always about being fatty and delicious smelling as to lure customers into buying them, but he lacked money... He made his way back to the shopping area, eyes set on a delicious pastry. There was a sign stating the rules nearby, but he couldn't be bothered to read it, right now he had to get something inside him. After all, he was the only person there, why let good food go to waste?
Before he got a chance to place it in his maw, a strange creature appeared next to him, it didn't have the same feel as the other creature, but what even was it?... It looked like a dragon-cat hybrid, almost his size, he jumped back a bit as he kept his grip on the pastry, it soon spoke up to him.
"I'd really recommend you follow the rules here... You already broke one of them, making it where it's going to be impossible to get out of this dream manually.."
The human responded by saying "So this is a dream huh? Then what're the rules for? Surely I can do whatever I want in my own dreams~! Besides that, I don't even know you...
The creature responded with a soft tone "My name is Amber, and like I said, you really shouldn't do that, stealing is against one of her rules and you'll end up getting punished for it.."
The human plainly responded with "It's just some food, what's the worst that could happen? I'm starving anyways and there's nobody else here...
Despite Amber's protests, the human took a bite of it... It was amazingly delicious, though were pastries always tingly?... What was in it? Why did his whole body feel weird?
"Now you've done it... Well, good job on that.."
"Done what?!" The human squeaked out... Wait, squeaked out?.. Why was everything suddenly big? He was being held up on a platform consisting of Amber's paw, shaking uncontrollably as he frantically looked around, too far to drop, what even was going on?! Why did this all feel so real?!
Soon enough the human would find himself frozen in fear, just sort of staring at the giant creature. It spoke up once more.
"I'm going to have to do something drastic... Just please stay calm, and shut up or she'll end up noticing you.."
Who the hell is she?! What do you mean something drastic?! All of these thoughts were racing through the mouse's mind, this was very quickly starting to feel less like a dream, and more like a nightmare. Why was her face getting closer, why was she opening her mouth?! She ended up tossing the human inside, with him having absolutely none of it. He wasn't even given enough time to escape, all he could do was furiously squeak out in a panic and try to escape... But even that wasn't an option as he found himself pinned sharply to the bed of the mouth by a heavy tongue, further protests just had the tongue press harder, as if to tell him to shut up... The human was forced to oblige, hoping to god that she had his best interests in mind... Not too long afterwards, he felt a presence near him, the same one as before... How? How could he feel it if he was inside what could potentially be his end?... He heard a feminine voice, someone completely different.
(Liepard) Hey Amber, have you seen a mouse anywhere? Mice are strictly prohibited from being in this park, and I plan on giving him a nice acid bath when I find him~
(Amber) Nope, have you checked the cheese stand?
(Liepard) Hmm... No, but I suppose that's worth looking..
Amber thought to herself (Please for the love of god go away...)
The human still had his mind in a panic, everything blending together... From turning into a mouse, to being eaten, to hearing about someone else that apparently wanted to digest him... It was nearly too much, he managed to stay conscious, but in sort of a 'deer in headlights' way... Thankfully, the tongue finally lifted as it pushed him forwards towards the exit, trying to make sure he doesn't fall backwards into her own gut. The human had extremely mixed feelings about where he was right now, but at the moment, he just wanted out... He felt walking, and soon enough the head tilted downwards to spit him out... It was a shockingly cold transition, his fur was covered in saliva, the air was near freezing to his little body, and he was somehow alive... The Liepard was nowhere in sight. He was thankful towards Amber, but didn't really know how to express it right now due to still being a bit shaken by the experience, not to mention the complete body transformation.
