After receiving her large amount of new offspring Hornet was stuck in the temple for a while, unable to move. She kept yelling for help and eventually a group of bugs from dirtmouth including some cured from the infection arrived, but she never expected the response she would get. Sly stepped forward and asked her some questions, then declared that she was the fullfiller of a great prophecy.

Said prophecy declared that a child born of two rulers would become magically imbued with a great number of offspring after a great disaster had befallen the kingdom. That sounded awfully like Hornet, much to her shock all the bugs belived this! They caried her to town and made her a comfortable room in a tent.

At first she was hesitant to accept all the worshipping and praising, but as the days went by, she realized she liked getting pampred. Sure she missed being a svelte warrior, but being treated like this just felt good. And she was happy that someday the Knight... who she has begun to call "her little warrior" will be reborn from her.

Eventually she got used to the routine of visitor's coming and asking for her advice or blessing. Some even wanted to feel her massive womb, believing it to grant fertility and luck. She even began referring to her subjects with terms of affection, and some bugs have even come forward with desires to be her suitor!

Hallownest would be reborn with Hornet, the Mighty Broodmother, as it's ruler.
