B....but Jake, I.... I never had a roommate.... oh... oh dear.

Commissioned by friend of mine named Basil!


I woke up the morning of drawing this in a huge Jake mood, and I started thinking about ideas involving FT and Jake finally meeting up once all these travel bans and lockdowns end, and eventually becoming roommates, and then this idea popped into my head. Luckily, one of the ideas Basil gave me for his commission list simply involved Jake showing off his gut to the viewer, so it was the perfect opportunity to handle two birds with one gut!

So, FT stepped out for just a moment to run to the store and returned to his computer to find Jake sitting there, all nice and round! However, if FT didn't have a roommate.... then who did Jake eat? A potential burglar? Some pizza delivery guy? Or just a random neighbor who happened to walking by FT's door just as Jake got there? Who knows!


FT and Jake being roommates has become a canon!

Disclaimer: As always, Jake is depicted in 'real time', meaning he's approaching his 30s (29 to be exact!) here in this pic! Never liked the facial hair most people who draw Jake give him, hence I don't use it myself :D
