The next morning, Seraphine wondered what had possessed her to do this.

Once the girl was inside her stomach, she had basically become immobile. The strained organ protested with every movement and breath. Every throbbing heartbeat made her fear that she was going to explode on the spot; boom, no more Seraphine.

It had taken both Akali and Evelynn to move her back to her room, and onto her bed.

To her meals credit, she had remained as willing the entire time Seraphine could remember. No struggle and more of a massage; no cries but instead muffled whispers of encouragement.
But even so, the songstress' bellies' ever louder rumbling and roiling kept her awake until the early morning.

Now that she was awake again, her mind felt like it was moving through syrup, and there was no girl inside her with words of motivation.
The weight had stuck around though, and the swollen orb of her stomach blocked her view out of the window. She heaved herself upright, and felt it fill her lap.

She stayed like this until Akali practically burst into her room. Even in her groggy state, Seraphine felt her heart flutter at the sight of her.

"Hey, sleepy head. You missed practice.", the rapper teased. She poked Seraphines gut. "But I see the night wasn't unproductive."
Seraphine wanted to kind of knock her on the head, but also kind of wanted to press her face against Akalis belly; much smaller than yesterday, but still visibly round.
She did neither, because Akali beat her to it on the latter. She felt her midrif conform to the contours of her friends face, felt the vibrations of a content hum. She blushed.

She didn't know how long that moment lasted, but it was certainly too little. But footsteps outside her room made Akali perk up.

"Evelynn? Seraphine's awake! We can do the thing!"

Seraphine was confused, until Evelynn entered her room. With two more girls in tow.

Dazed, she looked at Akali, and her friends expectant expression told her everything she needed to know.

She thought of how difficult just one girl had been. She thought of how happy she had been just now. She weighed the two against one another.

Then she cursed herself, and nodded.
