Alfred is named for Alfred Hitchcock, who directed many famous movies including Psycho which is considered a foundational film for the slasher genre.

John is named for John Carpenter, director of many films including Halloween, considered to be one of the first slasher movies.

Stephen is named for Stephen King, prolific horror author

Savini is named for Tom Savini, who did the special effects for Friday the 13th Part 1 and Part 4 in addition to other movies like Dawn of the Dead

Wes is named for Wes Craven, director of films such as A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream

Kane is named for Kane Hodder, the performer behind Jason Voorhees in movies 7 - 10 of the Friday the 13th series

Gunnar is named for Gunnar Hansen, who is the man behind Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre

and Jaime is named for Jaime Lee Curtis, who played Loree Strode in several films in the Halloween series.
