OK, for those of you across the pond, allow me to explain.

Mint Mobile is one of many piggybacking cell providers offering low fee cell phone services in the United States. I say piggybacking because these low-fee providers piggyback off the wireless signal towers that are run by Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T. In this case, Mint piggybacks off of T-Mobiles cell towers.

Oh before you say anything, Xfinity mobile piggybacks off of Verizon towers.

So, here is the Mint Mobile's mascot being eaten by a lion. If you look at the original drawing of the Mint Mobile Mascot, you'll see he has hints of mint leaves on his body. Probably that's the reason why he tastes like mint.
