(Spoiler alert: The young hippo survives. To be concluded for Day 17 - Role.)

How fast can hippos run? Certainly not faster than a deer, or a hungry croc!

"Ummm, I think a crocodile is watching us" the young hippo said.
"We should run" the deer said. "You said your mum was up further up along the bank, right?"
The young hippo nodded.
They both started to run. 20 seconds in, the hippo fell behind.
"Hey fella, where are you?"
There came a SCREAM!
The croc emerged from the water with the hippo in his jaws. "NO FAIR! That's CHEATING!"
Apparently the croc had slipped into the water to catch up to the two.
The deer sat upon the grassy bank to catch his breath and observe.
"It's the law of the wild, fella," the deer said. "The slowest get eaten, and the faster get to live another day!"
Austin, however, doesn't know Mama Hippo is watching all this unfold...
