During a stream, talks about "lithic characters" came up. Lithic is like stone-age, think Flintstones.
Verd created this very very lovely lithic version of Kalani. Immensely cute and really cool design! :)
(she has no backstory why her belly is this big, it just is)

Stone age people were often nomadic, it's very likely she does the same thing, it could be that she takes whole groups at once, and the hands represent how long they want to stay inside
