The scent of the various foods filled the room, a great feast of all varieties of delectable meats and side dishes. There was so much food, Rooster could’ve sworn he’d died and gone to heaven, if it wasn’t for the fact that he found himself among the dishes being served that evening.

He wasn’t going to get to enjoy much besides the foods that had been used to stuff his belly. The weight of all the food, and an unlucky human they’d used to fill him out, kept him pretty much pinned down by his bloated belly. Not that he could do much with the ropes that bound his wings and legs either.

A little sign that touted him as being reserved kept anyone from taking a bite out of him, though not from making comments about how delicious he’d look as a roaster or how filling of a meal he’d be. Their only hope to get a taste would be if they were the lucky winner of the charity raffle though, then they’d get to decide what his fate would be.

He had hope one the herbivores would win and let him go, there had been a few that entered the raffle purely to give the money to charity, but felt it’d be more likely they’d defer the ‘prize’ to one of the carnivores that drooled over the thought of a stuffed harpy dinner.

There was a silver rabbit nearby that was talking to a naga girl about how he’d gladly give her the prize if he was to win, boasting himself to be a lucky rabbit. Though it was clear from the look in her eyes that she was more interested in the bunny than the bird.

A few of the more predatory guests had helped themselves to the wait staff or even other guests as was permitted. The plump Satyr that was serving horderves had already been eaten once and revived, the naga that devoured him lounging back on one of the couches offered for the relief of the many guests that wandered the grand halls.

Rooster knew revival was likely on the table for him as well, though the though of being cooked and/or eaten still wasn’t pleasant. At least it was for a good cause?
