5 years. Five long years since I've drawn Melonie for Christmas. Weird ass tradition but I've always made a point to get it done, for one reason or another. I've missed it by a few days before, and i've missed a few other dates entirely, but that's life. Not really exactly sure why I go through all that trouble, I just like Melonie a lot i guess lol. Either way, it holds a really sentimental place in my heart. Not only has it been a good sign of my progress, it's led to some of the best things I personally think I've ever drawn. Christmas is already an emotional holiday with everything going on, so I won't get TOO sentimental, but the prospect alone does make me think about everything. I really have been drawing a long ass time. Arguably a lot shorter when you consider when I started getting "decent," but ya know how that all is lol. Counting all that, it's been almost a decade since I started posting shit online. Only like the past few years are really worth bringing up, but I wouldn't be where I am today without those kinds of mistakes and "cringy" moments.

... I realize that this all seems really out of character, since my descriptions are usually me talking about Hot Boobies, bitching about art mistakes, or how long I havent uploaded. On top of actually attempting to use proper grammar for once, but I'm fine lol. Nothing's wrong, I'm not stopping art or whatever if that's the vibe it's giving off.
I like to stay more laid back, straying away from more """serious""" shit, but Melo-"Tall Meloetta"-nie unironically means that much to me that I've gotten kind of emotional over this stuff. I'm all good, though. Didn't write any "thankful" post on thanksgiving, so nows probably a good time to do it instead.
