I wonder if you have used a 3d base to do the drawings, i might be wrong but it really looking like it... awazing work btw !

I'm really happy that you think that! But no. I use a mix of photos and a posable doll for inspiration and to find the details I need to include, then I sketch with shapes that I can transform until the charater's proportions are right. Then ink based on those details from the original photo, but following the lines of the shapes.
