The definition of a glitch is an unintended mechanic or behavior in a game that the devs were not aware of. I’m 95% sure the devs did not intend Abigail to be a rock muncher, nor were they aware of this behavior, otherwise they would’ve fixed it. That makes it a glitch.
There’s no animation of eating, even if you give them food. Their action with said item is interpreted from their reply, which, in Abigail’s case, is something along the likes of “this is my favorite food”. Basically the “max favorite” line variant for food items instead of for gems/non-edible goods.

Does she actually eat rocks in game tho? Or is it just the "wow, this is my favorite snack" (or something) line?
