On one hand Gidget is an adventurer. On the other she is still a goblin, and there are some urges she cant always suppress. Which is something the rest of the party shoudld have thought of when they left her to guard the princess they were escorting to forage for food when they ran out...

The escortee had better hope the ret of the group gets back soon. Though at the rate digestion is going Gidget is ending up with some royal fat regardless.
