An old pic of Black from October 2021!

this is the boys' father, Black. He's Joe's biological father, (though they only have the same eye color) and Redhead/Winter's adoptive father. he's a hard-working farm man who came to the island with his son Joe a long time ago. Like Joe he's not the brightest, but he's honest, loving, and caring and wants his boys to be the same.

Black was married to another woman at some point, but they've since split due to issues they weren't able to work out. He's longing to find love again someday..

He found the half-human/half-giant Redhead and the cursed Winter not too long after he and his son came to live on the island. (Joe was a toddler around this time. Winter is the oldest of the three brothers and was found first. Redhead is the youngest.) He looks rather young, but he's much older than he looks. (Winter got his love of magic from his father, maybe that's what is keeping him so youthful...)

Black watched all of his sons become adults and leave, (Joe isn't too far- he just lives in a shack by the beach near the village. Redhead's taken to living in the mountains, and Winter traveled far away in order to go to school) so he's rather lonely. And of course, his son Joe inherited his huge appetite from his father !
