Collectively within just within Varu's Art, there's a largely healthy balance of F preds and an even overwhelming majority of F Preds on this Eka's site gallery alone.

I suspect the new Ravenous Ascendance ( ?/? Towers) comic Series that Varu has going on is a healthy attempt to further balance things out.

I love that cómic but the balance was higly broken when Mowgli became a titán.
Ate a whole Town with women... But why there only was women on that Town? Was a massive unbalance even with all other 3 paths together.

I have no problems with preds gender, kind,species.
Is just Is quite "hard" find quality male prey or male and female prey (on the same sequense) content.

Cuz this, i don't follow More than 10 artists here but varu Is one of them so i like this content, don't get me wrong heheh

To answer your question?
It was because his "Opponent" was Hange from Attack on Titan.

The only alternative outcome I could have imagined is if She just crawled herself right into Mowgli's mouth against his will, which possibly would have been close to how she behaves, but it would be....anti-climactic?

All things considered, The town itself that he ate is negligible (It's not a character/his opponent) because the point was that it's in Hange's character to be completely head-over-heels with experimentation.

Hange's interests completely disarm people's sense of priority and even chain of command, so if she is confusing people and disrupting their concentration when first getting to know her or otherwise making you forget what's important in the moment for your position/priority/goal, then You're no longer in charge. (Note: in the context of the scene, Hange was not supposed to be anywhere near Eren at that moment as the Elite squad were considering him dangerous and potentially hostile as what he was capable of was not yet known. Hange sprinting in at that time is no different than rushing into the White House and trying to hug the president - only Hange would be able to somehow get past security, but you'd be shot dead at the fence.)

Lastly, Hange is so obsessed with her scientific research and has such a blind, bull-headed drive to plow straight through to getting results that she regularly ignores all common sense or health risk, on-screen by putting herself in extreme danger with hostile entities so often that it's difficult to really make a story (or a fight?) with her in any way that seems logical in the context of this narrative.

(Hange is the ONLY character in all of Attack on Titan who is this careless, reckless, obsessed and narrow-minded to the point of being completely absurd beyond the logic of her own world setting.)

While it's true and can be argued that Mowgli wasn't supposed to fight a town, the question really should be "What could we do with Hange that wouldn't just be her becoming a titan, being beaten by Mowgli and making him being seen as OP by eating her titan form?" I think it's more sensible that things went the way Varu depicted it considering that I think the idea is that the the unique character details and beats with their personalities or known traits are being put on display.

And as far as Mowgli's actual "character fights" are concerned? He's in the M/F tower for that reason. He's scheduled to be up against other Female characters. Luffy is in the M/M Tower.
Miriko is in the F/F Tower.
Black widow is in the F/M tower.

The only reason that Mowgli ate so many people in this set in the first place is because Mowgli was fighting Hange. If Hange was instead in Miriko's tower, Miriko would have been the one going giant/titan and stuffing herself with lots of prey instead.... because Hange is just odd like that.

Also: The titan fomula wore off. He's much smaller than the trees now. I assume Mowgli would have lost to Hange if he got too full on the population, passed out from a food coma and was shrunken back to normal while asleep long enough for Hange to eat him instead... because, honestly? Without her weapons, I don't see how she'd beat Mowgli of all people...especially in a jungle.

I'm not knocking on Hange's combat ability because I know she's smart, but I am expecting Mowgli to be on par with Tarzan as far as mobility/speed/strength/skill/instincts/senses by default. Without any assistance with animal support in combat, I believe Mowgli has Hange beat, especially since Hange has more near-misses with death just on carelessness alone, most instances precisely being risk of being eaten alive, which I doubt Mowgli is unfamiliar with, but chances far less in his story since he actively avoids that.

(hence why in my previous post I mentioned Hange's likely alternative possibility to climb in Mowgli's mouth, maybe even jut to see if he could achieve it.)
