As I mentioned, I had a lot of choices for what creature I could use to devour Samus once more, including Kraid. And if I chose Kraid, I had several choices for what the story of that could be! When deciding what I could draw, one option was a recreation of one of my oldest comics -- an "Epic Vore Battle" that featured Samus losing to the giant dragon-esque alien. While I ended up going with a different creature for myself, I trusted Torn to take on this new and special comic that certainly has some callbacks very longstanding fans will enjoy.
