Pretty Sure Chi-Chi's greed is endangering the universe at this point. There's really good chances that Videl was the best suited (Human) woman on earth for Gohan at the time considering her fighting skill was on par with - if not better than Chi-Chi's.
I mean, This cancels out Pan from existing now, so now the future of the Saiyan heritage is at risk. Whoever the next threats to the world will be in the future will have a cake walk now.
