What happens in an alternative universe where Felicia lives a happy life with her loving family? What happens to the human spirit of Neil if he never met the Zangoose on that faithful night?

The longer Neil stayed in purgatory, the more corrupted his spirit became as he learned and gained more spectral abilities. Slowly but surely, his humanity degraded until it left him entirely, now giving him the appearance of a ghost who's fueled by desire. He doesn't have a thought in his mind that isn't getting what he wants. And what he wants is never consistent. It could be an object, another spirit/ghost, or even a living being. Without a corporeal body of his own, his desire may drive him to steal the body of another, or perhaps devour them to fuel his greedy nature. This ghost is no ordinary ghost, but a possessor.

And one point, he ended up obtaining a enchanted pair of bracelets. These bracelets were very compatible with him as they attached themselves to his arms as soon as he touched them. These bracelets granted him the physical form of an imp, and sealed away his incorporeal self within them. With these bracelets on, Neil regained the ability to think for himself and can actually have some fun conjuring up some chaos in a more controlled manner. As chaotic as he is though, he's also quick to back down if he feels like it's too much trouble to continue.

However, these bracelets are special in such a way that he has complete control on whether they're on him or not. He can change back to his ghost form at will, but he'll only ever do it as a last resort. And the bracelets will always force themselves back onto him after an extended time of the ghost being inactive.

After countless attempts of wanting to make a fursona for myself, I just said 'forget it I want to be gremlin'. And now I am gremlin. Imp Neil is the same height as the Zangoose (4' 6") and the ghost is the same height as the Zeraora (6'). This AU version of Neil is pretty similar to the Zangoose personality wise, but lacks empathy most of the time due to the loss of his humanity (though maybe a sliver may still remain?). He shares all the same kinks as the Zangoose though the ghost is capable of body possession and hypnotism.

Also he barely ever walks on the ground. Whether as an imp or a ghost, most of his time is spent riding on his spectral cloud. He's a special kind of lazy that only the Zangoose could ever dream of living.
