When fuel prices skyrocked, one has to resort to alternate sources. Luckily, Bismarcks engine does not seem to concern all that much about what goes in, as long as it can be burned for energy.
However, a single human will certainly not be able to sustain her for any large amount of time. So who will be next? Volunteers will be chosen first. Everyone else later. The crew will be restocked at the next harbour.
I have to admit, I know next to nothing about Azur Lane. However, I DO know that I absolutely love the design of the Bismarck and I did my best to get her design right from whichever reference images I could find.

Ironically you do have it correct as they do drink oil, and you have good taste in characters.
