Melinda, it seemed, might have been lightning in a bottle. Not only had her udders already been sizeable before her acquisition, she'd had a hormonal condition that caused her to lactate heavily without the need for pregnancy or a child to suckle. He'd known this for years, since he was old enough. The hormone enriched oats that were standard for most hucows, merely supplemented her already considerable production.

For all the others however, the feed was absolutely necessary, and Rebecca had some catching up to do. James sprang for a batch of high yield, high fat feed, and refused to let the poor woman out into the fields every day until she'd completely eaten every ounce of her share. While Melinda was ordinarily quite the empathic head of cattle, she took some guilty pleasure in watching this young, perfect bodied mother be subjected to the same treatment she had, given that Melinda was quite the plus sized cow already. It was somehow... cathartic to her.

Day by day, week by week, pound by pound, Rebecca's once award winning, tight body, grew larger, and rounder.
