After learning about the Mermaid Witch's magical necklace (the Triton Shell), which allows her to take human form, the Beast Witch (in her cat form) makes a surprise attack and snatches it from her. As expected, the Mermaid Witch promptly transforms back into a mermaid, making her much easier prey.
