Hey everyone, am posting an hour later than I would have liked cause pc crashed while I was writing the story for this pic, so had to do it all over again -_-

But with that out of the way, here we have someone new, the Therion, Velvet Crowe, from Tales of Berseria ^^

To gain information on how to access the Empyrean's Throne, Velvet and her group had accepted one last mission from the shadow guild's leader, assassinate the high priest Guideon, that was supposed to be staying in the Palace Grounds royal villa.

The mission was to be performed during the night, so with the help of the shadow guild's spies the group travelled through the underground Barona Catacombs which contained a secret passage to the Palace Grounds.

Everything seemed to be going fine so far Velvet had thought as they had successfully infiltrated the palace, she had even learned a new arte while in the catacombs, which supposedly would enhance her ability to devour her opponents, but so far she hadn't understood how it worked, as her daemonic arm still behaved the same as before.

Things started to go wrong however, when Magilou's self-proclaimed knowledge of the place turned out to be incorrect and they were forced to search for the correct route for the royal villa and the chamber where the high priest was supposed to be praying at during the night. Things only seemed to get worse when the group bumped into two patrolling royal soldiers, which could easily trigger an alarm and interrupt their plan.

Velvet had threatened them to turn around and leave, or fight and be devoured, but the soldiers were having none of that and pressed the attack. Thankfully the battle was over rather quickly with the soldiers unable to either call for reinforcements or do much against Velvet's bigger and more skilled group.

Seeing this as an opportunity to get some actual information, Velvet approached the injured soldiers and grabbed one of them in her clawed hand, lifting him off the ground, and started questioning him on the path to the high priest chamber and any other useful information she could think of, but the soldier refused to talk, proclaiming that he would rather die than betray his duty. Velvet just sighed in annoyance and started clenching her clawed hand, ready to just crush and devour the soldier with it.

It was at that moment that the new arte she had learned not long ago made itself known, and much to the surprise and shock of everyone present, including Velvet herself, to a mild degree, instead of crushing the soldier within her hand she instead jammed his head into her mouth and swallowed, the arte knowledge and properties engraving themselves into her mind and body, making the strange act possible for her to perform with certain ease.

To say that the act was bizarre to everyone watching it would have been an understatement, with the soldier's body disappearing behind Velvet's lips and reappearing as a bulge in her growing stomach, but for Velvet with the arte knowledge now properly in her mind, she just felt that it was almost the same feeling she got when devouring her enemies with her daemonic arm, maybe even a bit more pleasant if she had to compare both methods.

In no time at all, maybe a minute or so, the remainder of the soldier legs disappeared down Velvet's throat, its bulge traveling and disappearing behind her collarbone, only for her belly to sag a bit more with all the soldier's weight deposited into it. Velvet just sighed in annoyance again as she rested her clawed hand on top her belly, feeling the trapped soldier struggles inside her belly, trying to escape from his already sealed fate, knowing that this method would take longer to absorb her opponent than just crushing them in her claw, but she could think of a few benefits to using this new method from time to time.

Turning around she directed her cold gaze onto the last soldier, younger than his superior, she noticed now that she was paying more attention, and questioned him one last time, he could either just give up tell her what she wanted to know and she would let him live, or he could be defiant and die an agonizing death along with his superior in her stomach, which just as she said that started to growl and churn loudly, the sounds of digestion intensifying along with the trapped soldier struggles and unintelligible screams for help.

And he'd better choose fast thought Velvet to herself, as she felt the struggles of the dying soldier in her gut slowly weakening, otherwise she would choose for him. She had said she would devour anyone who stood in her way, and she truly meant it.

- And here ya go folks, this pic was really fun to work on, as I have always liked Velvet character since I played the game, but never really understood why there wasn't more art of her, so lets fix that a bit XD
